Football Coach (Graduate Assistant)
My objective is to obtain a position as Graduate Assistant for Utah University’s football program.
Eventually I would like to use this position to expand my current knowledge of football. In having this position I would be able to contribute. With this position I would also like to be able to teach young boys and men the game of football. I would be more apt to explain the game as well as the importance and the lessons to be learned on the sidelines
Experience
High School Football (Mountain View High School) [Sept. 2003-July 2007]
Freshman Year- I was the starting Tight end for the varsity football team receiving the Freshman of the year award.
Sophomore- Senior Year- Named team Capitan and I was a 2-way starter playing Middle Linebacker and Tight end. Led the team to an El Camino Division championship all 3 years.
College Football (Foothill CC & University Of Utah) [Aug 2007-Present]
Foothill College Freshman Season I was Team Captain and started at Defensive Tackle. Led the team to a 10-2 record and a Silicon Valley Bowl Championship. Obtained a full scholarship from the University of Utah.
Utah- I am a current player finishing up my second season playing on the Defensive Line.

Skills
I am a hard worker who is very reliable with a pet peeve of being late. I can do anything from cleaning to cooking. I you can see above on the “experience” section I am an exceptional football player who can and will share the knowledge of the game of football to those who are willing to learn.

My name is Joape Pela and my family and I are from the beautiful islands of Fiji. I am the second youngest of six siblings and I was born and raised in the sunny weather of California. I love to play sports and spend time with my family and friends. Im easy going so don’t be afraid to approach me.
