Associate Director of Innovation Board                                                                          2011-Current
Associate Director is part of the Union Programming Council which is a family of seven  student directors who have been selected through an extensive board interviewing process, resume review, and presentation. Their mission is to plan, organize, and develop activities on campus with the help of dozens of associate directors. UPC serves as the heart of the Union, inviting every student to come participate, serve, and learn while enhancing their educational experience.

Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Heavenly Hoofs                                                                                                                                 2007-2009
n  Heavenly Hoofs was established in 2002 for the sole purpose of serving individuals with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses. We accomplish this the use of specially trained horses and advanced instructors who are certified by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). We strive to instill confidence, provide happiness and excitement, and most importantly, a feeling of inclusion for all our students. A sense of accomplishment is apparent in each child’s spirit as they learn to groom, care for, and ride their horse.

It was a High School Club organization and I was Vice- President of the club. We help promote Obama campaign in our High School and community. Furthermore, we had debates with the Young Republican and competitions.  The program engages Young Democrats through their local county and high school chapters, through state and regional programming, and nationally through events like our national convention.

Honors/Achievements
Selected as a member of the National English Honor Society. This honor is bestowed on students selected for accomplishments in the field of English and in overall academic achievement.  For two years, I was President of my Seminary Class . I was awarded a Journalism Scholarship for the year of 2010-2011. I was a Student Ambassador which enable me to travel to New Zealand and Australia.

About Me:

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Utah majoring in mass communication with an focus on broadcast journalism.I am from the beautiful sunshine state ( Florida) and I loved that I was raised in Florida.  I love being involved on campus and creating events for the University students. I am a Associate Director of Innovation Board at the Union Programming Council.  We create events for U students to get involved and making the U campus a better place.

I am an avid fashion lover and I hope to be a fashion stylist in the future. However, if that dream doesn’t become realized; I would love to be a Entertainment journalist and be the next Mary Hart. I hope to accomplish many things in my life and to travel the world. I want to eventually live in New Zealand. I had the opportunity to be a student ambassador and travel to New Zealand and Australia; I fell in love with the culture and the people.

My objective in life is to make my parents proud and accomplish all that I can before I die.
